Templates

Templates facilitate the creation and standardization of frequently used layouts.

To create templates, you do not need any more knowledge than you need to create a text. The only thing you need is the right to create templates.

A template for texts contains the following parameters:
Title
Title that provides clear information will be displayed later in the drop-down list of templates for editors.
Template
Design the text template as described in the Texts section.
Write permission
Assignment User group and Responsible user via the corresponding drop-down list.

Views
Selection of views under which the current text should be visible:
All views: All views are selected
No views: All views are deselected; at least one view must be selected manually afterwards.

Validity
Beginning and end of the validity of the text. Values can be entered either manually or using the calendar function.
The responsible editor receives a message shortly before the text expires. In addition, the text is displayed in the list in the Start menu under Expires soon.
After the text expires, it is no longer available for readers. Editorial members can still search and access the text.

Create from template

To create a template, proceed as follows.

  1. Open the search function via the navigation menu.
  2. Switch to the Template tab.
  3. Select a Add template from the Add menu of the function.
  4. Give the template a clarifying title. The title is later displayed for editorial members in the drop-down list for templates.
  5. Design a template text as described in the Texts section.
  6. Define the Write permission, the specification of Validity is optional.
  7. Save the template.
The template is suggested to the target group as a template when creating texts.
