Messages

Messages can be created by editors when saving texts, as well as separately.

Messages can be received by all users but sent only by editors. Messages include the following parameters.
Title
Message title
Required field
Content
Message content; the message can be designed in the same way as a text.
Required field
Target group
Select the target group to receive the message from the list of available user groups
Required field
Send message via email to following contacts
User group select the target group that should additionally or alternatively receive an email from the list of user groups
Send message via email to the following target user groups
Select the contacts from the list of contacts who should receive the message via email regardless of their membership in a user group.
Priority
important: The recipient must confirm that they have read the message or text
normal
low
Validity
unrestricted: The message will not be deleted from the recipients' mailbox.
Validity: Use the calendar function to enter the date on which the message will be sent and the date on which it will expire.

Creating messages

To create a new message, proceed as follows:

  1. Open Messages via the navigation menu.
  2. Select the Add message function via the Add-menu.
  3. Edit the message parameters as described above.
  4. When you Save the message, it is sent at the same time.

Sending a message about a text

You can send messages when creating and modifying texts.

  1. Edit a text as described in the Texts section.
  2. Once the text is ready, select Save and message.
  3. Edit the message parameters as described above.
  4. Saving the message will automatically send it as well.
