Views

Editors use views to filter which information is displayed to which user in the tree.

This ensures that each user only sees content that is relevant to them. One or more views are assigned to each content in Knowledge. The views are assigned to each individual user via user groups. Each member of a user group can see all the contents of the views assigned to their user group.

Views are represented by colored dots. Each colored dot is provided with a tooltip that displays the name of the view. In the view selection in the title bar, each user can use a drop-down list to see which views are available and which color is assigned to each view. In the results lists and in the detailed views, the views that are assigned to the corresponding article are symbolized by colored dots. This gives users an overview of which user groups the content is assigned to.
