User menu

Every user can make personal settings to his view of Serviceware Knowledge in the user menu.

You can access the User menu by selecting the user icon on the right side of the top bar.

In addition to the general Settings, bookmarks and the most recently viewed texts are displayed.

In the user menu you will find information about your licenses. For information on using Serviceware Knowledge, refer to the Manual. You will also find the link to the Log out of Serviceware Knowledge here.
Tip: It is possible that you cannot configure settings as described. Some settings can be allowed or disabled by the administration. An example is changing your own password. In this case, please contact the administration.

Settings

You can make different settings on your user interface. You can undo these settings in the General tab and reset the user interface to its original state.

You can change your password in the User tab. You can view which user groups you belong to and which views are available to you. You can change the view using the drop-down list in the top bar next to the search field.

In the Home tab, you configure your start menu. You can choose a vertical or horizontal screen layout. You can also select possible tabs that provide you with quick access to functions that you use frequently. The content available to you via tabs depends on how your Knowledge has been configured. You can reach your Bookmarks not only via the Pinboard, but also via the User menu button.

For Search and Messages tabs, you also have the option to choose a vertical or horizontal layout for the reading area.
