The Serviceware Authenticator allows to use different tools, modules and applications via Single Sign-On. Serviceware Authenticator gives you access to all software components of Serviceware. No new registration is required when changing applications.

You can install the Serviceware Authenticator both via the Serviceware Configurator and manually.
  • Installation via the Serviceware Configurator is suitable for a new installation or an update of the Serviceware platform for use with Serviceware Processes.
  • The manual installation and configuration is particularly suitable if you do not need all the modules of the platform or if you do not use Serviceware Processes.
Warning: The Serviceware Configurator installs the Authenticator 1.1.0.7.5.3 If you have been working with an older version of the Authenticator, you will need to execute a scripted update of the Serviceware Authenticator manually. To do this, read the section How-to: Manual installation and configuration of Serviceware Authenticator.
