Chat function

Serviceware Messaging is the chat function of the Serviceware platform. It allows chat messages to be exchanged and processed within the platform, both with each other and with external requesters.

The Messaging function offers the possibility to provide support via chat through the service desks. For this purpose, the agent has access to Serviceware Knowledge directly from the chat. Serviceware Messaging also allows the creation and extension of tickets from a chat.

The agent acts similarly to a phone call. The agent can create cases in the system from any chat and load attachments. The cases generated from the chat are managed via the tables. The chat conversation is saved with the associated cases. Closed chat histories are archived.
